ABOUT THE TRIP
The journey from Reykjavik City Center to the Blue Lagoon is a unique and scenic experience. Upon departing the airport, you will be greeted with breathtaking views of the Icelandic countryside, including rolling hills, snow-capped mountains, and distant glaciers. As you reach the Blue Lagoon, you’ll have a hint of what is to come ahead as you look upon azure ponds and some striking architecture. After showing your tickets at reception and getting a towel, you’ll move into the comfortable dressing rooms, where you’ll change, shower, and enter the pool area.
A vast lake of vividly blue water, veiled in mist and surrounded by magnificent lava fields,The water is naturally heated to a perfect temperature, and filled with minerals and algae found nowhere else on earth, said to have therapeutic effects on the skin and mind.With your comfort entrance, you are welcome to use the silica masks available from the tubs on the side of the pool, their revitalizing effects are noticeable immediately. Furthermore, you’ll be granted one free drink from the bar.
The Blue Lagoon boasts a gorgeous waterfall you can stand under and a small grotto beside the pool, you can find geothermal saunas and steam rooms, where you can indulge even more in the luxuries of this spa. There is also a restaurant on site.
